Official National League ball autographed by Charles "Kid" Nichols. Nichols is the youngest pitcher (32) in history to win 300 games. Nichols played 15 seasons for the Boston Beaneaters (1890-1901), the St. Louis Cardinals (1904-1905) and the Philadelphia Phillies (1905-1906). He won a record 30 or more games in seven seasons from 1891-1898 including leading the league in three consecutive seasons (1896-1898). Kid Nichols finished his career with a 360-208 record giving him a .634 winning percentage. The Veterans Committee elected Charles Augustus Nichols to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1949.
